More about our labels

viscose

Viscose is a versatile material made from natural cellulose, usually wood pulp or cotton. It is characterized by its softness, comfort and draping properties. Described as a "natural polymer," it has similar durability properties to polymers but is 100% plastic-free.

We use certified viscose from Germany as lining in our blazers. This viscose is not only soft and cooling, but also environmentally friendly. It is based on renewable wood that comes 100% from local, legal and sustainable reforestation. The fiber production takes place in Bavaria, Germany. This viscose received the Material Health Level Gold from the Cradle to Cradle Product Innovation Institute and has been recognized as a "responsible fiber" by the Fair Trade Organization. This ensures that the viscose is processed in supply chains that meet Fairtrade textile standards. In this way, we offer environmentally conscious business fashion for women with style and sustainability.

organic cotton

Cotton is one of the most commonly used natural fibers and thrives mainly in warm, tropical and subtropical regions. Despite its breathability and absorbency, cotton is a thirsty plant that requires a lot of water. When manufacturing our business wear, we use organic cotton for the lining, sewing thread and various labels. Using cotton sewing thread instead of polyester ensures biodegradability, but increases production costs. Sourcing 100% cotton labels is challenging, but our commitment to sustainability is worth it to provide environmentally conscious business wear for women.

Wolle

Corozo nuts (tagua nut / corozo nut)

Stone nuts are a vegan, robust alternative to horn buttons. They grow in Ecuador, Panama, Brazil and Peru. In the 1920s they revolutionized the fashion world and replaced ivory, which was mainly used to make buttons and was associated with a lot of animal suffering. Incidentally, one of the first vegan button pioneers was a Hanoverian button factory in Linden (Germany).

Mulesing-free wool

Cutting yourself while shaving can be quite painful. But that is exactly what happens with traditional mulesing methods. Mulesing-free methods therefore prevent sheep from having to suffer through painful shearing procedures and invest in the welfare of the animals.

Made in Europe

Less transport, more transparency thanks to the Ecodesign Regulation and the Supply Chain Act. Why go far away when the best is so close?
Made in Europe means designed and tailored in Europe. The textile origin of cotton often comes from other continents. So look out for recycled materials 💚♻️

Biodegradable

Wow! You're wearing the crème de la crème of slow fashion! 🌿 These pieces are so organic that they will eventually grow back into Mother Earth - almost like us 😉♻️ This idea is also behind the Cradle-to-Cradle concept, which takes nature as a model. Disclaimer: Biodegradable also means that there are no zippers - but buttons.

100% plastic-free

Many clothes are full of synthetic fibers that release microplastics into the water when washed. Treat yourself to fashion that won't end up as microplastics for snorkelers in 500 years 🤿🌊. Disclaimer: You'll be amazed at how well thought out plastic-free production is - it even goes as far as not using nylon thread for the buttons!
